We had a wonderful experience with Gold Heart Homes. Our original kitchen was a galley kitchen surrounded by four load bearing walls. Carol created a beautiful vision for us. They were able to match up our prior floors and create tons of customized cabinets so that we could maximize our space. Throughout the process we added on some random things (such as creating an extra doorway and re-tiling the floors in a separate room). Jason always gave us a quote beforehand and made all of the transactions very transparent. My favorite part is that if I dreamed it they'd make it happen (such as a totally custom spice drawer, stain behind the glass cabinets, and tile going all the way to the ceiling on one wall). Every single member of the team made me feel safe. We were crazy and decided to live in our house during this and work from home (wouldn't recommend that part!). But all of the contractors were respectful of our space. Cannot recommend them enough.

What else can be said other than these guys did an amazing job on our kitchen renovation. They helped us every step of the way, and answered any questions we had about the process. I work from home so I was able to watch everything unfold, and it was great to see all the progress along the way. At each stage we just got more and more excited to see the final product. All of the workers were kind, courteous, and of course, did a great job, and we got everything we asked for. And they completed the job in the time frame that they specified. There were a few very minor hiccups along the way, but they worked hard in getting everything sorted out to our liking. I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about redoing their kitchen!

We just finished our kitchen remodel, and we loved working with Gold Heart Homes. Jason was really great to work with - very communicative and available. His attention to detail and desire at the end to make sure everything was done well and how we wanted it was much appreciated. Carol also was a pleasure to work with and helped steer us in the right direction with our design. They also finished up pretty much in the time frame they had predicted, so we couldn't ask for more!

Everyone on the team for my master bath renovation and expansion has just been wonderful to work with throughout the entire process! Carol is an amazing designer/she nailed most of my options for me by seeing my home and listening to my needs and reasons for the project, plus the ending aesthetic/look I wished to achieve! I wish to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation for the complete Master Bedroom remodel undertaken by GoldHeartHomes and Jason Mankin, Project Manager. The project was complicated with unique wall tile, custom glass shower, peninsula Quartz waterfall, and custom teak cabinets and shelving. I found them to be an excellent team that were dedicated, professional, thorough, accommodating, responsive and committed to excellence even to the tiniest details. They were very conscientious to my needs and thoroughly followed the design specification provided by my designer. I might add that the team are Rock Stars in my eyes coming to work each day with the best attitudes and big smiles ready tackle any problem that might come up that day. Gold Heart was awesome. Dustin came in with a no nonsense bid and even was willing to talk to me about finer details for the bid process while I was still talking to others. Carol their designer gave us helpful opinions as we worked with her to design our space. Our project manager Shawn was on time and made sure things went as smooth as possible. Would definitely recommend speaking with them and we would work with them again if we ever need another remodel done.

The quality that Gold Heart delivers is on a different level. We looked at a lot of different companies in the KC area when choosing a kitchen contractor...A LOT. Everyone says they are going to give you a high end remodel, and in the end you pay way too much for a "name" and end up with generic cabinets made at a factory. This is not one of those companies. The cabinets themselves were made right here in the KC area, by hand, and with amazing craftsmanship and quality materials. Judd is a top of the line cabinetmaker that refuses to compromise, and it shows in every detail. Shawn was with us every step of the way as a PM and even though he is employed by Gold Heart, it almost feels like he works for you. Unwilling to compromise on quality, he would find the small items that we had missed or had shrugged off and would immediately make sure they were rectified. We could not be happier with the outcome. Their pricing was extremely fair, they offered a high level of customization and features you can brag to your friends about, and the end product we received was simply superior to the other "premium" companies that we spent time with. They earned the right to be our go-to for any future projects we have come up, and that's the highest praise i can give any company.

Gold Heart just finished my smaller kitchen remodel and did great work. They removed a non-load bearing wall and combine my kitchen and dining room. They were able to keep my current cabinets and refinish them where necessary; and coordinated replacement/install of flooring, countertops, backsplash. When other companies would not respond or said they could not even come look for 2 weeks, Dustin (owner) came out the same day and got back to me with a competitive quote within a week. Dustin answered any and all questions promptly and knowledgeably. I thought there could have been more clarity within the contract/bid in regards to the material allowances and different labor costs; but it did not matter as they did not nickel and dime us at any time during or after the remodel. The billing process was straightforward and invoices were sent in parts at different project milestones. After deciding to move forward with gold heart Carol (designer) was easy to work with and made communicating design issues and selecting all the materials a straightforward process. After design they were able to start my project within a month. Originally quoted 3 weeks, start to finish was about 6 weeks. Any delay was communicated in a timely fashion and promptly rescheduled. Shawn was my project manager and did a great job making my design come to life and coordinating in house guys as well as third parties to complete the job carefully and skillfully. Shawn has years of experience with remodeling/trade work and was a great resource for any questions or advice when any issues came up. He went out of his way to make sure the finished product was up to his standards and my expectation. John my main re-modeler was very skilled and paid great attention to detail and did a great job. All other in house and third party were prompt, skilled, kind, and respectful. Thanks a lot everyone!

Recently added a full bathroom and closet to my master bedroom. The Gold Heart Homes team was great to work with from the beginning bid process to the end of construction. Everyone with the company is very professional and helpful. I cannot recommend them enough and will definitely use them again for any future renovations.

Great company to work with. I had a stamped concrete patio added to the home. From the initial contact to the complete project. Communication was great. To the fast response on my estimate and design to providing flexible insulation times. I’m very pleased with the experience. Will be using the team again on my next project.

Dustin and his team did a great job on our 1st Floor remodel. They worked with us during the concept phase and gave us several options while working with us relative to our budget. Despite challenges getting materials due to COVID, they were always responsive and communicated issues and gave us suggestions to deal with them. Shawn in particular, as our point person once the work started, was outstanding. Great quality, would definitely use them again.

We went to the Johnson County Home Show to find a contractor for a fairly large remodel. We met Dustin/Gold Heart Homes first. Had him and 2 other companies come bid the project. Dustin was the least expensive (not by much) but that wasn t what made us choose Gold Heart Homes, mostly we were just comfortable with Dustin and thought he was the guy we could trust with the job. The Project Manager Shawn was great. We got the kitchen and master bath gutted and redone, all floors on the main level replaced (wood, ceramic and granite). Also and upstairs shower completely replaced. The work was done well. The people doing the work were professional and they showed up when they said they would. And we re very pleased with the finished job(s). Would use them again and happy to recommend.

Dustin with Gold Heart just did our kitchen and we couldn't be happy. They planned and organized before starting our project. So there was no wasted down time for them demoing and then putting everything back.We didn't move anything, just upgraded everything we had. The project was quoted 2 weeks and they were done in 3 weeks. Which from other stories is great news and we had issues with our gas line.Dustin was reachable by text when we had questions or issues.All the contractors he used were clean, professional, and polite.

Dustin's crew always do an excellent job. They are a great choice for any house remodeling project!

We had to redo the flooring in our basement due to flooding. The first person we hired to do the job did an awful job. I wish I had called Dustin and his team in the beginning. They provided a competitive quote and completed the work quickly and professionally. We are very happy with the finished work and will be using them again on our next home improvement project.
